Our Mission

We are dedicated to sharing World Music for the greater good. Creating and promoting concerts to raise awareness and funds for those in need, sourcing the best traditional instruments, celebrating culture, teaching the history of traditional music, incorporating World Music into modern scores, and helping those who wish to discover how to play it.

Our Story

We chose to call our company Mataji Music because of the woman who changed our lives: Sri Siddhi Ma. “Mataji.” Spending hours with her in Kainchi, India taught us what matters most. Love. Pure and simple. As mother and son, we were given many gifts from her. Now we’re here, sharing our gifts with the hearts she helped us to open.
